Newly Opened CGL Louisville Station Delivers World-Wide Customized Service
- Great Relationships and Tailored Services Define CGL Louisville
Concert Group Logistics (CGL), a Downers Grove, Illinois-based leader in transportation logistics, has announced the opening of its Louisville, Kentucky station in October 2008 under the leadership of Chuck Evans. A thirty-five year veteran of the logistics industry, Evans has extensive experience in all areas of transportation logistics, having operated his own start-up company, Ship and Shop, for several years. Always focused in the Kentucky market, Evans has also worked for United Parcel Service and Roadway Global Air among others.
CGL's new Louisville station, with a highly trained staff boasting 58 years of combined industry experience, is uniquely positioned to deliver tailored services to projects of all dimensions. "We pride ourselves on our ability to work closely with clients to deliver extensive plans customized for their exact transportation needs," said Evans. "Several of our projects include shipping oversized items, such as cranes and fork lifts, overseas. Our hands-on approach is applied to all clients no matter the shape or size. There is no one-size-fits-all here."
An advocate of fostering relationships, Evans is extremely happy to join the CGL family. "CGL has demonstrated that they are going to invest in our station as a partner and together we will invest in forward thinking and new ways to bring our clients the highest quality of service possible," Evans continued. "CGL is the ideal company to move the industry forward."
Gerry Post, president of CGL, sees the Louisville station as an important asset to the CGL network. "In addition to possessing the necessary skills and experience, the Louisville station delivers an unparalleled customer-centric approach that will help to make this business even stronger. Evan's team of seasoned professionals offers years of insight with fresh new perspectives." Post continued, "We are eager to see what they bring to the table and look forward to a long and successful partnership."
With the addition of the Louisville station, CGL now has a network of 25 stations throughout the United States, all of which are equipped to handle world-wide transport.
