Express-1 Named Redbud Business of the Year

Express-1, a division of Express-1 Expedited Solutions, Inc. (AMEX:XPO), a premium transportation and logistics provider, has received the Redbud Business of the Year award from the Chamber of Commerce. Express-1, which was recently named one of Inbound Logistics' Top 100 Motor Freight Carriers, was recognized by the Chamber for its volunteer efforts in the community. Jeff Curry, President of Express-1, said, "Being named the Redbud Business of the Year is an honor for our employees. We think it is very important to support the communities where our employees raise their families. Our business is very dependent on having the right culture for our employees to work, and we feel our community efforts help develop a very productive and fun atmosphere for our employees. I know we are doing things right when I see our employees at the store on a Sunday and they are proudly wearing an Express-1 shirt or hat. I am also pleased that our award was signed by State Senator John Proos, State Representative Sharon Tyler, and the Chairman of the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, Congressman Fred Upton."
